Sunset@IIT

Watching the sunset....
As best expressed by William Henry Davies....

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare

Hi! These days in the digital era, there seems to be no limit to the number of pics we click. Sometimes, as we wait or travel, something captures our eye and voila! It is recorded!  But after a while we either lose or even forget they ever existed until the next time we transfer or sort. Yesterday as I was reading the paper, it struck me that it would be interesting to compile and share all my random clicks somewhere.  Thus Capturing Life came into being. This comes as another step  towards Discovering Life.

To start such an activity is easy with the initial excitement but even at later stages I aim at posting at least one unique image every week at the minimum (no upper limit!). It could be related to nature, food or just some random subject. It will describe life more than living beings though as all people may not be comfortable with their pics being out for display. Of course animals have no qualms as of now so they make interesting subjects!

Finally I close on the note that a picture is worth a thousand words.  So happy viewing!
